RESEARCH AREAS

Biomedical and Biotechnology

Biomedical technology focuses on studying the human body, diseases, and related processes. It involves the application of biological and medical principles to better understand human health and develop new medical treatments, diagnostics, and therapies. Biotechnology, on the other hand, is the application of engineering and technology principles to living organisms or their components, with the goal of developing useful products or processes. Our current research capabilities encompass metabolic engineering, protein engineering, nucleic acid engineering, drug delivery, and the analysis of biosystems and bionetworks.
