2019년도 학위수여식 행사안내(졸업생/학과용)

1. 일 시 : 2019. 2. 15(금), 오후 2시

3. 참석자 유의사항

가. 졸업생

1) 행사 시간은 12:30부터 16:00까지이며 행사 중간에 퇴장이 불가합니다.

※ 학위수여식 참석을 통보한 졸업생만 단상에서 학위수여가 가능하며 불참 또는

미통보자는 학위수여식 종료 후 학과에서 수령하시기 바랍니다.

2) 12:30∼13:00까지 졸업생 대기장소에 오셔서 출석 체크를 받은 후 행렬입장 준비에

협조하여 주시기 바랍니다.(출석체크가 안된 분은 단상에서 학위기를 받을 수 없음)

대기장소 ->학사: 정문술빌딩(E16), 석사: 대강당(E15), 박사: 인문사회과학부 시청각실(N4) ※ 단상에서 개별 학위기를 받으신 분은 자리로 돌아가 다른 분들이 학위기를 다

받을 때까지 자리를 지켜주시기 바랍니다.

3) 졸업생 학위복 대여 및 반납

- 학위복 대여 일자 : 2019.2.12(화)∼2.14(목), 10:00∼17:00

- 학위복 반납 일자 : 2019.2.15.(금) 19:00까지, 2.16(토), 10:00~12:00

- 학위복 대여료 납부기간 : 2019.2.11(월)∼2.14(목)까지

- 학위복 대여/반납 장소 : 학사 학생회관(N12) 학사지역 매점건물 2층(세탁소 옆) 

- 학위복 대여료 : 10,000원

- 학위복 대여료 입금구좌 : 우체국 312512 - 01 - 000015 (예금주 : 한국과학기술원)

- 대여시 확인사항 : 졸업생 학번 및 성명, 입금내역, 참석가족현황(졸업생 제외)

※ 학위복 대여료는 반드시 졸업생 본인 명의로 입금하여야 함

※ 학위복 대여 당일 입금증 또는 입금 확인서를 제출하여야 함

※ 행사 당일은 학위복을 대여하지 않음

(단, 대리수령 가능, 대리수령시 졸업생 본인명의 입금내역 지참)

4) 의무복무기간이 남아있는 전문연구요원 졸업생은 3개월 이내 학생지원팀에서 당연전직에

필요한 안내를 받으시기 바랍니다.

나. 참석 교수

- 13:10 ∼13:40까지 류근철 스포츠컴플렉스 1층 대기장소에 오셔서 학위복을 대여

받으신후 행렬입장 준비를 하여 주시기 바랍니다.

※ 가급적 본인이 소장하고 계신 학위복 착용 권장 함

다. 졸업생 가족

1) 오후 1시30분까지(행사 30분전) 학위수여식장에 입장하셔서 졸업생들이 행렬입장할때

박수로 축하해 주시기 바랍니다.

2) 학위수여식 행사는 스포츠 컴플렉스(N3)에서 진행하며 행사장에 입장하지 못한

가족분들은 대강당(E15)에 마련된 대형 스크린을 통해서 행사실황을 시청 하실수

있습니다.

3) 입장권은 현장(학위복 대여장소)에서 배부하되 행사장 수용인원을 감안하여 졸업생당

2매를 배부하고 추가로 요청시에는 동 현장에서 검토후 추가배부 여부를 결정 할

예정입니다.

Notice for 2019 Commencement Ceremony (For Graduates/Departments)

1. Date/Time : Feb. 15 (Friday), 2019, 2 p.m.

2. Place : KAIST Lyu Keun-Chul Sports Complex (N3)

3. Instructions for participants

a. Graduates

1) The event is scheduled to start at 12:30 and end at 16:00, and leaving early during the ceremony is not allowed.

※ Only graduates who have notified the attendance of the commencement ceremony can receive their degrees on stage; those who fail to notify their attendance or attend the ceremony can pick up degree certificates at their department offices after the ceremony.

2) Graduates are to arrive at the waiting area between 12:30∼13:00, and inform the relevant personnel of their arrivals (Graduates whose attendance is not checked at the site are not allowed to receive their degrees on stage.)

Waiting area ->BS : Chung-Moon-Soul Bldg.(E16), MS: Main Auditorium(E15), PhD: AV Lecture Hall of School of Humanities and Social Sciences (N4)

※ Graduates who have received their degrees on stage are requested to return to their seats and remain there until the ceremony ends.

3) Graduation Gown Rental and Return

- Graduation gown rental period : Feb. 12 (Tuesday) ∼ Feb. 14 (Thursday), 2019, 10:00∼17:00

- Period for return : Feb. 15 (Friday), 2019 (by 19:00), Feb. 16 (Saturday), 10:00~12:00

- Period for payment of graduation gown rental fee : Feb. 11 (Monday)∼Feb. 14 (Thursday), 2019

- Place for graduation gown rental/return : 2nd floor of the store building in the undergraduate

 area of the Student Center (N12) (next to the laundry)  

- Amount of graduation gown rental fee : 10,000 won

- Account number for payment of rental fee : Post Office 312512 - 01 - 000015

 (account holder: KAIST, 한국과학기술원)

- Matters to be confirmed when renting graduation gown : Student ID number, name, deposit details, attendance status of family (except graduates)

※ Graduation gown rental fee must be paid in the name of the graduate without fail.

※ Required to submit deposit slip or confirmation of deposit on the day of rental

※ Rental service is not available on the day of commencement.

(Please note that proxy pick-up is allowed; in the event of proxy pick-up, required to show the

 deposit receipt in the name of the graduate at the time of proxy pick-up.)

4) Graduates whose compulsory expert research personnel service period has not expired are advised

 to receive guidance on pertinent procedures to take from the Student Affairs Team within three months.

b. Faculty

- Professors are requested to arrive at the designated waiting area on the 1st floor of the Ryu Keun Chul Sports Complex between 13:10 and 13:40, receive gown and cap, and get ready for the procession.

※ It is encouraged to wear their own gown and cap as much as possible.

c. Families and Friends

1) Families and friends are requested to arrive at the arena by 13:30 (30 minutes prior to the ceremony start time) and greet graduates with applauses when they enter the arena.

2) Families and friends who have failed to gain admission to the arena (N3) are able to watch the ceremony on a large screen at the Main Auditorium (E15).

3) Admission tickets are distributed at the site (place for graduation gown rental); each graduate is guaranteed a maximum of two guest tickets; for additional guest ticket request, decision will be made at the site in consideration of the circumstances at that time.
