GE Korea에서 2013년 졸업예정자 혹은 기졸업자를 대상으로 URP (대졸 인턴십 프로그램) 참가자를 모집합니다.

연수기간은 2013년 1월~6월까지이며, 기계공학 / 화학공학 전공자를 대상으로 1월 16일까지 접수 신청 받습니다.

대학생 인턴십 프로그램

 

GE Korea는 국내외 대학생을 대상으로 우수인재발굴 및 육성, 선발의 목적으로 인턴프로그램 URP (University Relations Program)를 실시하고 있습니다. GE Korea-URP는 차세대 GE 리더를 육성하고자 GE 리더십을 활용한 체계적인 인턴십 프로그램으로 비즈니스 업무능력과 리더십 역량을 훈련하는 현장실무OJT 과정입니다. 매년 상반기, 하반기 2회에 걸쳐 대학생을 선발합니다.

 

 

•인턴십 내용

 

선발된 대학생은 인재사관학교로 불리는 GE의 비즈니스 환경을 직접 경험하게 됩니다. 배치된 부서에서 일반업무를 수행하는 것 뿐 아니라, 1:1 멘토링, 월별 리더십 교육, 미니MBA, 자원봉사활동 및 프로젝트 참여 등 GE의 강도 높은 업무환경과 다양한 프로그램을 직접 경험할 수 있는 다양한 기회를 갖게 됩니다. 월별교육과정은 GE 리더십 및 GE Growth Values, 커뮤니케이션 및 프레젠테이션 스킬, 마케팅전략 등의 인재양성 교육 및 직무역량 등을 주제별로 다루고 있습니다. 모든 인턴십 과정은URP 대학생들의 다양한 프로젝트 참여와 GE 임원들의 직접적인 코칭과 피드백이 제공됩니다.

Job DESCRIPTION

Application Engineer

 

Essential Functions (Responsibilities):
This position is a part of the Sales team of Measurement and Control, a GE O&G company. Primary responsibilities include modeling, configuration and delivery of M&C’s software suite of products.

 

  • Deliver SmartSignal solutions that meet the specific needs of our power industry and oil & gas customers.
  • Configure, install, validate, and provide ongoing support for the SmartSignal software.
  • Assist plant engineers in early warning on changes of equipment condition, investigating potential operational and machinery problems, and providing recommendations to maximize the availability.
  • Assist in development of new technologies and procedures, which will help improve the product and reduce delivery time.
  • Train plant personnel on use of SmartSignal systems.
  • Travel to domestic and foreign power plants (30%).

 

 

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in Mechanical/Chemical Engineering or equivalent.
  • 2+ years of power plant modeling experience with statistical modeling software, SmartSignal software preferred.
  • Familiarity with Visual Basic or equivalent language programming.
  • Strong analytical skills working independently and in a team.
  • Fluent English communication skills (written and oral) to convey technical concepts to business and technical personnel.

Desired:

  • Advanced degree with emphasis in power generation technology.
  • Familiarity with power plant DCS and plant historians.
  • Familiarity with testing and measurement systems and with data interpretation.
  • Linear programming / optimization; neural net experience.

·         Six Sigma Green Belt certified (GE Employees only).
