List of Plenary and Keynote Lectures

Prof. Jay H Lee from the Department of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering at KAIST gave a plenary talk on 07/16/2020 at the International Federation of Automatic Control World Congress (IFAC). Participants at the IFAC are from 50 countries around the world, and only one member/organization from each country are invited, making it one of the most prestigious conferences in the world.

The IFAC 2020 was set to open in Berlin, Germany but due to the COVID-19 crisis, it was held on-line with over 5,000 participants. Prof. Jay H Lee's talk was on reinforcement learning for process control and beyond.


Prof. Hyun Gyu Park from the Department of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering at KAIST gave a keynote talk at the 2020 Korean BioChip Society Meeting held from 07/08/2020 to 07/10/2020 in Yeosu, Korea. His presentation was entitled "Isothermal amplification for molecular diagnostics of COVID-19" and it was part of a COVID-19 Special Session that invited some of the world's experts in this field.
