Prof. Yong Keun Chang(KAIST), the director of the Advanced Biomass R&D Center, was invited to give a lecture on the topic of "Development of Microbial Strains with Enhanced Multi-sugar Utilization Capability" as a plenary speaker at the Society for Industrial Microbiology & Biotechnology Annual Meeting (SIMB 2018). The symposium was held in Chicago, US, from Aug. 12 to 16, 2018. Previously in Jun. 2018, SIMB concluded an agreement to promote international cooperation with KMB (The Korean Society for Microbiology and Biotechnology), which was led by Prof. Yong Keun Chang.
