KAIST CBE ranked 15th in the 2017 QS Ranking

The 2017 QS World University Rankings by Subject rated Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering at KAIST 15th in its global ranking. This year, KAIST CBE advanced by four slots (19th in 2016) and continued its place as the highest ranked Chemical Engineering department in Korea.

KAIST CBE earned an overall score of 86 with 81.7 in academic reputation, 90.6 in citation per paper, 87.7 in employer reputation, and 89.7 in H-index.

BK21 Plus Program at KAIST CBE is selected as a "Best Program" by NRF.

BK21 (Brain Korea 21) Plus Program for Multi-scale Chemical & Biomolecular Engineering at KAIST CBE is selected as one of the "Best Programs" by National Research Foundation (NRF) of Korea. The NRF selected 26 programs among 544 programs in 11 subjects and KAIST CBE BK21 Plus program is the only chemical engineering program awarded.
According to NRF, "KAIST CBE program has compared and analyzed educational programs in global top universities and adjusted them to suit Korean educational environment and circumstances, and now are operating original and leading education and research programs."

BK21 PLUS Program is a national human resource development program initiated by the National Research Foundation (NRF) of Korea. The program cultivates master´s and doctoral-level resources who will create new knowledge and technology and lead the creative economy.
